DataGénero is the first Gender Data Observatory in our region. Since March of 2022, the observatory has been working in AymurAI, researching on the uses of Artificial Intelligence that can enhance the struggles of cis women and LGBTIQ+ people. DataGénero's diagnosis is that in Latin America there is a lack of data on gender inequalities in various fields.
With the support of Women at the table, A+ Alliance and the Tecnológico de Costa Rica, along with the collaboration of groups and software cooperatives, we managed to develop AymurAI, a computer program based on Artificial Intelligence, which aims to help the judiciary to collect and make available data on gender violence.
